About the Role
Heritage PS Talent Solutions are thrilled to be working in partnership with a very well established, and highly successful business within the Civil Engineering industry to recruit for an experienced HR Systems Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful HR Systems Coordinator will report directly to the Head of People & Engagement and become an integral part of our clients’ cooperative HR team dedicated to exceeding expectations. Your main role will involve managing and refreshing content within our recently adopted HR & Payroll System. Your focus will be on ensuring its smooth and efficient operation while meeting the needs of the business.
Main duties of the HR Systems Coordinator:
On a daily basis, the HR Systems Coordinator will undertake the following responsibilities (though not limited to)
- Acting as the primary authority on our HR and Payroll System.
- Collaborating closely with the HR and Payroll Teams, with a focus on updating and maintaining the systems content.
- Overseeing the organisational structure and employee lifecycle, including establishing system hierarchies and aligning work patterns with new employment terms.
- Utilising the system to generate reports, extract data, and facilitate informed business decisions.
- Providing additional administrative support and covering duties for the HR Administrator as needed.
- Ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies.
- Assisting the business, employees, and HR Team with inquiries related to the HR & Payroll System.
- Managing, maintaining, and updating both the HR & Payroll System and associated documentation.
Requirements of the HR Systems Coordinator role:
- Previous experience in operating and overseeing an HR System.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly explaining HR System usage and related activities to others.
- Strong administrative abilities with meticulous attention to detail and adeptness in multitasking.
- Track record of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ambition and enthusiasm for initiating, refining, and implementing changes, process enhancements, and innovative work methods.
- Prior exposure to administrative, HR, or systems roles.
- Possession of CIPD Level 3 or higher qualifications would also be beneficial for this position.
