Hi, I’m Elly Clow, the Head of Professional Services at Heritage PS Talent Solutions. In my role, I collaborate with businesses throughout the UK to secure top talent for their respective roles. With nearly 14 years of experience in the recruitment industry, I have worked in diverse capacities, covering the entire recruitment process, various industries, sectors, and solutions. My journey began in the volume Industrial temporary market, and over the years, I have acquired industry knowledge, built a robust network, and expanded my expertise in the ever-growing PS (Professional Services) market.

Why the Professional Services industry?

It was an easy decision for me to lead a business that focuses on the PS industry while being part of an industry-leading and award-winning company. At Heritage PS Talent Solutions, we prioritise a people-first approach, placing great importance on honesty and building strong relationships with both candidates and clients. We provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of businesses and have established an excellent network across the industries we serve.

What skills can you offer to companies and candidates?

My approach is built upon pillars of honesty, transparency, communication, and interpersonal skills. I believe in fostering open and genuine relationships with the individuals I work with. Leveraging my extensive experience, I offer customised solutions and plans to help clients achieve their goals, providing unwavering support throughout their journey.

What’s one of your biggest professional achievements?

During the COVID-19 lockdown, I successfully led a large-scale project with a manufacturing business. Our objective was to recruit over 100 permanent employees within a challenging environment. Through innovative talent attraction, sourcing, and onboarding strategies, we completed the project ahead of schedule and achieved a 100% fulfilment rate. This experience demonstrates my ability to adapt and thrive in difficult circumstances while ensuring successful outcomes.

I firmly believe in the power of knowledge and the importance of continuous learning. In this fast-paced industry, staying updated on industry trends, job market dynamics, company insights, and sales approaches is crucial. By consistently expanding my knowledge, I strive to deliver exceptional results and provide valuable insights to my clients.

Tell us more about your life outside of work.

Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with my family, particularly my 5-year-old. We enjoy family outings and creating lasting memories together.
