Workshop Controller

Heritage PS Talent Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to work with our well established Main Dealer client in Weston Super Mare, on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Service Manager the Workshop Controller will be responsible for the day to day running of the workshop.

Main duties of the Workshop Controller:

• Coordinate and allocate repair and maintenance work to the team
• Monitor work in progress and ensure timely completion, working towards departmental KPI’s that have been set.
• Motivate and encourage team members to achieve productivity and quality targets, this includes hitting the Workshop efficiency against budget.
• Ensure the workshop adheres to safety and environmental guidelines.
• Assist with problem-solving and provide technical guidance when needed
• Maintain comprehensive records of work and inventory
• KPI's based around CSI and profit.

Requirements of the Workshop Controller:

• Proven experience in a Workshop Controller or similar role.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organisational and scheduling abilities
• Ability to motivate and push team members to achieve exceptional results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic Salary £32,000 – Total OTE £42,000
