Heritage PS Talent Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an experienced and successful Aftersales Manager with extensive experience within the Automotive industry to join my client’s successful team in Northampton.


Main duties of the Aftersales Manager – Automotive:

  • You will be responsible for driving growth in the Aftersales department while fostering a proactive and collaborative environment for new ideas.
  • Effectively oversee the aftersales department to ensure its smooth and efficient functioning.
  • A proficient achiever adept at managing a team while consistently meeting individual daily targets.
  • Ensure seamless communication of all pertinent details to the workshop, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and streamline a well-organized, cost-effective process for vehicle aftersales and servicing.
  • Strategically enhance performance and tackle challenges by devising and implementing sales-boosting strategies to augment customer satisfaction.
  • Expand retail service while enhancing efficiency in the vehicle repair workshop by skillfully recommending and upselling products and services, thereby optimising revenue.
  • Maintain precise and comprehensive records of customer transactions and interactions.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments to resolve customer concerns and refine operational processes.
  • Analyse performance data vigilantly to pinpoint areas ripe for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to remain informed and responsive.

 

Requirements of the Aftersales Manager – Automotive:

  • Prior experience as an Aftersales Manager is essential.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Responsible for training and overseeing the aftersales team to ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Strong organisational abilities to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proven track record of achieving set targets and goals.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills for professional customer interaction.
  • Proficiency in management to lead a team effectively and drive positive results.

 

Benefits of the Commercial Aftersales Manager – Automotive role:

  • Basic salary up to £45,000 PA DOE plus a range of benefits including:
  • Bonus / Commission taking the OTE to £60,000 PA +
