Heritage PS Talent Solutions are working on behalf of our client to recruit for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our well-established manufacturing client in Bellshill, ML4. The successful candidate will support the Customer Service team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have recently worked within a customer service role dealing with customers predominantly over the phone, order inputting and order management with experience of liaising with internal partners to ensure needs are met.

 

Main duties of the Customer Service Coordinator:

Customer Interaction:

  • Respond to customer inquiries, pricing requests, delivery information, and sample requests via telephone and email.

Order Management:

  • Verify and confirm addresses, pricing, discounts, product availability, and haulage options.
  • Enter quotations, sales orders, sample requests, and schedules into the system.
  • Investigate and process credit requests and additional invoices.
  • Prepare and issue credit notes.

System and Database Management:

  • Ensure regular and accurate updates are maintained in the company's CRM system.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Liaise with the transport team to manage order book and schedule clearances.
  • Check order acknowledgements for accuracy.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with external teams and customers to promote stock and drive sales.

 

Requirements of the Customer Service Coordinator :

  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience working effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to participate in training events, including those requiring travel and overnight stays.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and precise keyboarding skills.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and capable of working under pressure while using initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is advantageous but not required
