We are thrilled to be working on behalf of our highly successful and well-established client within the Energy and Utilities industry to be recruiting for Business Development Managers. With a stunning Head Office space in Leicester, the role can be offered on either a hybrid basis if you are local to Leicester (if you want a few days in the office, but that’s up to you!), or on a fully remote basis if you are anywhere else in the UK!

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- You will make a great first impression to our potential new clients by explaining the benefits of our service and products.
- You will work through your pipeline of leads to understand the energy requirements of the customer.
- You will confidently deal with any objections that are presented with a view to turn the objection around in to an opportunity.
- You will deliver a brilliant customer service at the highest standard.
- You will contact potential customers via telephone to build and maintain relationships with customers across the UK.
- You will expertly identify sales opportunities through thorough questioning.
- You will present solutions which save customers time, money and reduce their carbon emissions.
- You will manage your existing customer accounts and renewals.
- You will accurately complete all customer details and sales on the CRM system and ensure all information gathered for any customer is accurate and compliant.
Requirements of the Business Development Manager:
- It is essential that you have experience of working within the Energy / Utilities industry within a sales capacity.
- You must have a minimum of 3 years sales experience and a proven track record of success in a telephone sales role.
- You must possess excellent sales skills with a hunger to exceed targets and increase your earnings year on year.

- A competitive salary paying up to £35,000 PA basic and £60,000 OTE Year 1
