Heritage PS Talent Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Sales / Business Development Manager with an extensive IT background to join our well established client based in Leeds on a full-time, permanent basis. 

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the main purpose of this 360 role is to establish new business to support business growth, build client relationships and to Account Manage your clients to the highest standards.

Main duties of the Business Development Manager:

  • Take the initiative by contacting potential customers who have expressed interest through phone calls
  • Secure new business via phone, communications and via face-to-face meetings and networking events
  • Demonstrate the capability to address customer concerns effectively
  • Offer helpful product details and guidance to enable customers in making well-informed buying choices
  • Collaborate with customers to develop tailored solutions that cater to their specific requirements and financial limitations
  • Selling both a product and a service to businesses throughout the UK
  • Develop new and existing accounts by demonstrating the highest quality account management and client relationship development


Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager or similar role within the IT sector.
  • It is essential that you have experience working within an IT business 
  • MSP experience is preferred 
  • B2B & B2C experience  
  • Account Management / Client Relationship experience
  • Extensive IT knowledge
  • Experience utilising CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills
