Construction Technician

Heritage PS Talent Solutions are working on behalf of our client.

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with our well-established client within the construction industry to recruit for a team of Construction Material Technicians to join their successful team on a full time, permanent basis in Leicestershire to visit sites on a national basis and to be responsible for on-site compliance testing.

This role would either suit someone with a few years’ experience within the industry, or driven and enthusiastic individuals who would like to build a successful career within the Materials & Construction industry. Full and extensive training will be given, all you need to bring with you is the right attitude and willingness to learn, grow and succeed.

Main duties of the Construction Materials Technician:

As a Construction Materials Technician specialising in Construction Materials, your primary role entails conducting on-site compliance tests on a national basis. These tests involve evaluating materials intended for use in construction projects, both new and existing, ensuring they meet the standards set by British and EN regulations.

Following rigorous testing protocols, you'll provide precise assessments and generate detailed reports accordingly.

Expect to visit diverse sites daily to perform these tests, with occasional weekend work required, compensated at an enhanced rate.

Requirements of the Construction Materials Technician:

• This role involves national travel, so you MUST hold a full UK driving license.
• You must have fantastic customer experience skills.
• The role will occasionally include overnight stays, which will be fully expensed, but you must be flexible to work away as and when required.
