About the Role

Heritage PS Talent Solutions are working on behalf of our client to recruit for an experienced Administrator to work from their factory in Walsall to support various departments within the business. This full time, permanent role will suit someone who has experience working within a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial environment within an administrative or business support role.

 

Main duties of the Factory Administrator:
  • Managing factory-level payroll in coordination with the central Payroll team.
  • Handling orders, dispatch, goods receipt, invoices, PPE, and health and safety environmental records.
  • Controlling raw material, PPE, and engineering stock, as well as producing production reports.
  • Providing administrative and secretarial assistance to the Factory Manager, other managers, and the TPM team, in addition to organising onsite meetings and performing general clerical duties.
  • Managing petty cash, cash sales, and banking activities.
  • Undertaking general reception and telephone duties.
  • Entering and maintaining records in the internal system

 

Requirements of the Factory Administrator:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in administration.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and numerical skills, with adeptness in all Microsoft applications.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and take initiative.
  • Strong team spirit and a positive work attitude.
  • Self-discipline and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with company software.
