Financial Controller

We are excited to be recruiting for our industry leading, and well established client within the Construction industry for an experienced Group Financial Controller to work  closely with the  Group Finance Director in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller or an experienced Finance Manager looking for the next step in their career.

Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller:

• Responsible for change management throughout the Group.
• Manage process improvement throughout the Group.
• Daily management of the group finance team, which is currently at a team of 6, with scope for this to grow within the next 12 months.
• Responsible for dealing with external auditors, stat reporting and year end reporting throughout the group.
• Management of risk and improvement
• External reporting at all levels.
• Responsible for the accurate forecasting throughout the group.
• Stakeholder management of internal regional managers/directors across the UK.
• Working closely with the Group Finance Director to understand and improve the current reporting process.

Experience required from the Group Financial Controller:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role 
• Experience of working within a Group is essential 
• Experience of managing and mentoring a team
• Experience within the Construction industry would be advantageous 
• Strong stakeholder management skills
