Import Account Manager

Heritage PS Talent Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Import Account Manager to work with our well established client based in West Yorkshire who specialise in Shipping and Freight, just outside of Leeds on a full-time, permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to successfully manage your portfolio of clients on both a National, and Global basis.

Main duties of the Import Account Manager:

• You will  be required to handle FCL and LCL sea freight shipments with good knowledge of all incoterms.
• You will be required to complete customs entries.
• You will be responsible for managing your customer's requirements and expectations at the highest level of quality.
• Handle daily bookings from overseas agents.
• You will professionally look after client’s delivery bookings, requirements, invoicing and cost control.
• You will be responsible for reporting to line managers with regards to shipment status.
• You will support both the Operations and Sales teams within the business where required.
• Manage supplier relationships and secure new suppliers.

Requirements of the Import Account Manager:

• The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience within the freight forwarding industry.
• You will be experienced in managing the end to end process of air and sea freight, FCL & LCL.
• You will have HMRC knowledge of all import and export regulations and systems knowledge.
• You will have knowledge of CNS, MCP systems.
• Must have excellent Microsoft office skills
