Group Finance Manager
5-6 Month Contract

Up to £70,000 PA DOE

Heritage PS Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our industry leading, well-established manufacturing client in Huddersfield for an Interim Group Finance Manager to join their successful team and to support the Group Finance Director in driving the performance of the business. This is a contract role for approximately 5-6 months and offers an immediate start.
Responsibilities of the Group Finance Manager:
- Responsible for P&L forecasts for the Group
- Management of the Group’s annual budget process
- Preparation of year-end Group statutory accounts
- Systems support
- Accounting Project work
- Working with SAP team on testing and development
- Oversee the accounting and Audit process for Head Office
- Reviewing and updating accounting policies
- Group management reporting on a monthly basis
- Business performance and improvement areas analysis
- Analysis of subsidiaries balance sheets and cash flow movements each period
- Management of insurance portfolio
- Assist with M&A duties
- Assist with tax compliance, reporting and liaising with external advisors
Qualifications and Experience required from the Group Finance Manager:
- A minimum of 7 years experience in a finance leadership role
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience of manufacturing is preferred
- Experience of managing a finance team
- Experience working within multi-site and multi-disciplinary business's
What the Group Finance Manager will receive in return:
- £70,000 DOE Basic salary pro-rated to contract
- 25 days plus stats per annum holiday
