Due to a consistent and successful growth period, we are recruiting for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our well established and industry leading Design & Manufacturing client in Sheffield. The Senior Sales Manager will be key to the future growth and development of the business, so the role would suit a Sales / Business Development Manager with 10+ years experience and with a strong background in the Engineering & Manufacturing space.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Sales Manager
- You will be responsible full the full sales cycle.
- Lead generation.
- New business through Networking, researching, communication via phone, email and face to face.
- Client Relationship Management / Account Management.
- Build on existing and lapsed relationships in addition to new business development.
- Keep up to date with the Industry changes and news.
- Work to targets based around the business growth plan and industry market.
- Use internal CRM systems to keep records accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with all internal departments to ensure your customer receives the highest quality service every time.
What we need from the Senior Sales Manager
- A minimum of 10 years within a Sales / Business Development role.
- A proven record of successful new business as well as Account Management excellence.
- A minimum of 10 years experience within the Engineering / Manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work to targets and to your own initiative.
- A valid full, UK Driving License
What the Senior Sales Manager will get in return
- A basic salary of up to £55,000 PA dependant on experience
- Uncapped bonus - approx 20% in year one
